About Us
Since 1960, Seta has been providing custom tailoring in the Fashion Industry from the European Arena all the way to the Unites States of America where she arrived in 1979. With her first venture, SETA Fashion was born in a small boutique in Belmont, MA in 1984. After several years of seamstress and custom tailoring work, SETA soon became a household name. The FREE ALTERATION rule which still exists today with SETA, had a large role in showcasing her talents to her clients.
The retail sales aspect of SETA began in 1985 where Seta's designer partners would fabricate and send to the Unites States, one-of-a-kind dresses from Paris, Milan, Israel, and Germany. Ladies in the New England area began to visit the now infamous Seta Boutique by the carloads. After many fashion shows in the Metro-West and Boston area, SETA began to grow even larger and made a name for itself Nationally. With many commercials on the cable front, SETA was now recognized by ladies all over the United States. Women from the west coast, mid-west, and east coast would inquire about flying in to custom create, tailor-fit or order one of SETA's beautiful gowns for their personal events.
After 10 years of quality retail fashion and free alterations / tailoring, Seta expanded to her current location at 65 Watertown St. Watertown, MA where she currently holds one of the largest inventories for ladies high fashion designerwear. From Evening Wear to Cocktail Dresses. From Business Suits to Casual Wear. Dresses for the Mother of Bride and Mother of Groom, and Informal Brides. Seta has everything for the fashion conscious lady of the new era. For 40+ years Seta's experience behind the sewing machine and bright ideas for creations has sparked many fashion publications interests in the US. Bridal, Entertainment and Fashion magazines have published spreads about SETA and her success as a fashion mogul here in the US for the past 25 years from the birth of SETA to the continuation of her success.
